PAYRA PORT GATEWAY
This project is one among the Prime Minister's Priority Projects. It is a built project & completed in 2018.
Payra port, also known as “Deep Sea Port”, situated at Potuakhali, Barishal is entered through a monumental gateway. The concept for this main gate design has been derived from the primary element of a port, i.e. the ship.
The monument is entirely a fair-face structure. The top horizontal portion of the sculpturistic structure represents a ship’s body with it’s bottom up, made with concrete flat slab topped by concrete capstone.
The three piers that hold the ship above ground makes way for the two entrance route. These piers are tapered at the base and made more functional by incorporating the guard and security rooms.

Special design consideration was given to accessibility and ease of movement keeping the rush hours in mind.
ART SCHOOL
“THERE’S MUSIC IN AND AROUND US, IN THE CHAOS TO THE VOID”
This unbuilt project, Art School, had been conceptualized in one of the most densest areas, Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The concept of this project had been drafted from the 7 Notes of music.
An intensive study was conducted on the musicians; their needs, their learning process, the instruments, the philosophy; the proposal was drawn with all these features in primary focus. Notes, rhythms, silent spaces, chords, patterns, pentagrams, inspired us to invoke the true nature of this project.
As the building has seven sections, which are by some means attached side by side, some of these are extended to give it a more spellbinding appearance. If we catch sight of the perspective, bird’s-eye view, we will notice the intersection of those parts of the building and the formation of 7 Notes. This project incorporates a combination of three major materials- Concrete, Glass and Brick.
KUAKATA ECO-RESORT
Kuakata Eco-Resort is what one would call luxury within nature.
An important element of this project is gaining an innovative understanding of the forms of local architecture and their methods of construction. The project aspires to explore the site, climate and the culture with a detailed vision.
The project explores the idea of the inner and outer realm of traditional site planning for the design and also maintains its natural identity throughout the whole area. The added landscape has been completely attired to fit the resort rather than being just a part of the design. The resort consists of a harmonious amalgamation of landscape and pavement. This heightens the natural feel of this resort.
